Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 60 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the 'Complete Orders' link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

What You’ll See

Pores will appear smaller. Regular use will reveal a brighter complexion and overall smoother, more consistent tone and texture.

What You’ll Feel

Mild exfoliating and slight astringent effect. 

What You Should Know

Micro-peeling is normal during the acclimation period. If over-drying occurs, reduce usage to every other day.

Anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, brightening, gently exfoliating Mandelic Acid will not trigger hyperpigmentation.

How To Use

Regimen Step: Two

Use after cleansing and before applying corrective serums to clear the skin of loose epidermal cells and impurities and allow for optimal product penetration. 

Frequency: As needed - AM and PM. Start usage every other day. Increase to daily or twice daily as skin becomes acclimated. Frequency may be increased to remove excess oil or to accelerate your skin care program. 

Method: Start usage every other day. After cleansing, moisten a cotton pad and gently apply on face, neck and decollete. Increase to morning and evening usage, as tolerated.

Pro tips: 

Excellent booster treatment for skin with severe acne, melasma, or fine lines. 

Refrigerate during warmer months for a refreshing lift.

Mandelic Acid: A naturally derived extract of bitter almonds. Particularly effective in targeting acne, age spots, discoloration, and wrinkles while minimizing irritation. A natural skin lightener.

It has been about 2.5 weeks of using the face wash, toner and serum. I notice improvement in how smooth my skin feels and breakouts healing...but also tiny new ones coming to the surface (that'show exfoliants work). I hope this will fade the left over red/dark spots soon.

PS I wish the toner didn't have alcohol.

Vivant is a dermatological line. Our products are formulated with transformative ingredients that meet the highest USP (United States Pharmacopeia) standards. When using your regimen, you will see and feel the difference. Sometimes those changes can be confusing, however, do not mistake action for reaction. The changes you see in your skin are the sign that your products are working.

When you first begin using a dermatological product, your skin will go through a period of acclimation as it adjusts to the new ingredients. This acclimation period may take anywhere from 30-60 even 90 Days, depending on your skin type and condition and most importantly your consistency.

The skin may appear rosy and pink. There will be purging, dryness, tightness, irritation, redness, and itching, as well as some light flaking or exfoliation due to exfoliation and acclimation of the products. That’s desirable. These are the signs of cellular regeneration and real change in your skin. You will not see the desired results without some of these signs of acclimation occurring. If, however, your skin is stinging or inflamed. Slow back down again, meaning reduce usage to once a day every third day, and gradually ramp back up to daily usage. Don’t give up and be consistent, consistency is key to achieving the optimal results you are looking for.

Regarding the alcohol, Dr. Fulton's formulas are meant to work, and work fast We use denatured alcohol (non drinkable alcohol) as an important vehicle to carry our active and key ingredients, much like water in other products.

Alcohol evaporates rather quickly leaving the key ingredient (s) unclouded and ready to penetrate the skin. As a plus, in most formulations we add emollients and moisturizing ingredients to counter the drying effect alcohol may have in some patients.
